Hello Co-op Community,

I began working here at the Co-op in 2021 while I was a student at the University of Oregon. I started as an assistant teacher in the infant room and had the wonderful opportunity to move up to the wobbler room with my group the following year. I have recently graduated from U of O with a Bachelors in Education Foundations, and have since taken on the role of lead teacher in the Wobbler room.

I grew up in Portland, Oregon and moved here to Eugene in 2019 to start school. I love spending time at home with my kitty Fiona, going on walks downtown to get some good people watching in, and reading when I have the time. I have been working in early childhood education for over five years in a variety of different settings, a few of which have also used the Reggio Emilia philosophy. This is what initially drew me to the Co-op Family Center. I believe in a patient and encouraging environment children can develop the necessary skills and relationships to become independent and confident individuals. I love having the opportunity to work with children every day, I always feel so special watching them as they grow up and discover the world around them.
